  Medical care is free of charge for anyone. The midwives (pictured) are volunteers from Fiji who after retiring chose to come here to help. They deliver 20 babies a month. Doctors come from Fiji, Cuba, Taiwan Complex cases need to be airlifted to Fiji, but the plane only comes twice per week and sometimes there is no space on the plane On a Saturday, the reception are included a number of residents waiting. There was a good TV and places to charge a phone (best facilities in Tuvalu for that). This may be good because it encourages others to come
